Although AGM batteries are touted as not requiring venting...in an enclosed space...it should still be vented IF the battery has a built in vent hole. Even an AGM battery can release hydrogen gases in an overcharge situation ... Decided to save money going with a cheaper battery. How does the mtx-24f sound for $160? Its still an AGM, but decided to use the leftover cash for proper battery maintainers (going solar).
